Better than Alo mats!!! I have so much to say about this mat. Before I get to it I was to explain that I have tried mats from ALO, lululemon, go clever, heathyoga, Iuga, gaiam, cork mats, jute mats..etc. I've tried alot in all types of yoga from Hot yoga to Hatha to rocket to restorative. I know what works and what doesn't. That being said....I LOVE THIS MAT!
The part that really surprised me the most was how flexible the material is. Most mats have a sense of stiffness to them.. especially cork and rubber mats. This does not! Plus, it is half the weight of an ALO mat. Don't get me wrong the weight inst that big of a deal but when you can have quality, grip and durability at a weight that doesn't feel like a small child? Boom. Not to mention the craftsmanship of this mat. It's gorgeous! This limited edition is sooo Beautiful! I am so pleased the design doesn't distract me from my practice either. I will be recommending this mat to my students who need a good quality mat. I will also be buying one for my hubby!

This might be the mat I've been waiting for my entire life. Grippy yet soft, gorgeous and strong, hearty with a heart. I'm head over heels.

I've now used this mat for my daily practices, which are mostly in studio and heated and range from flow to sculpt/cardio, and some at home, for about a month. This mat changed my entire practice, like I really mean that - it fundamentally changed my practice for the better. I am in tune with alignment, because of that I am in tune with how my body might feel and move and flex differently day to do, because of that I am healthier and stronger and making better choices. The mat honestly feels like a really good teacher, especially in an era where there are no hands-on assists. I cannot recommend this enough, and to be quite honest, I can't believe this didn't exist before!
