Stop shaming yourself into moon rituals.
Astrology is finally trending & our feeds are overflowing with hella infographics & influencers hitting us with “how to full or new moon ritual the right way” or “make sure to do this during the full moon *or else*” and I’m sure some are well intended, we’ve got a big, fat bone to pick with the OR ELSE part & anyone saying there’s a way “you have to” do it.
First of all, there’s no fucking rules here (rule # ☝️) Second of all, shame & shoulding has no place in ritual. No place in healing. No place in manifesting. Just cause you found a ritual that works for you, doesn’t mean it has to be everyone else’s.
If you’re stressing out over “how to moon ritual right” I need you to hear something: if you are shaming yourself *into* doing something because you’re afraid if you don’t nothing good will happen to you or bad things will keep happening, we are 100% missing the point. And to me, does more harm than good.
For me personally, my body & life responds wayyyyy better to me not giving the moon a second thought if I’m not feeling it than giving all my power away to “how it’s supposed to be.”
The moon is hella powerful. You couldn’t control it if you tried. It’s coming for you whether or not you bathe in the moonlight, meditate for 2 hours in a soundbath, put your crystals OR none of those things because you’re hella stressed out - it’s STILL going to give you what you need!
What DOES make a difference though, is your “from where” place you are operating from, or your intention you have around whatever you are doing (even if you’re watching reality tv on the couch waiting for DoorDash to arrive).
YOU ARE THE ONE THAT MAKES IT POWERFUL.
So, are you gifting yourself some full moon rituals time because you’re inspired or are you bullying yourself into doing it & hoping it’s “good enough” or that it should look a certain way?
You are the ruler of your rituals! (Or non rituals)
